Hi, I’m Melissa, a Senior UX Researcher focused on turning complex problems into clear, actionable insights.

I bring 7+ years of UX research experience, grounded in a foundation of data analytics, to help teams make confident, user-centered decisions. I graduated from Georgia Tech, and my path into UX began while working as a data visualization analyst at an aerospace company. In that role, I saw firsthand how even the most sophisticated data is only as valuable as its usability, which sparked my passion for designing intuitive, user-centered experiences.

To deepen my expertise, I earned a master’s degree in User-Centered Design from Brandeis University, where I strengthened my skills in research methodology, human-centered design, and experience strategy.

That combined foundation continues to shape how I approach research today. I lead end-to-end research programs across a range of methodologies, including large-scale surveys, quantitative benchmarking, moderated usability testing, and in-depth qualitative studies. I focus not just on identifying issues, but on uncovering the reasons behind user behavior and translating insights into clear, prioritized recommendations that influence product strategy and design decisions.

In recent years, I’ve specialized in healthcare and PBM platforms, navigating complex workflows across member, pharmacy, and client experiences. I’ve led research initiatives that inform roadmaps, improve usability in high-stakes environments, and strengthen alignment across product, design, and business teams. Prior to that, I worked in consulting across sports, finance, and healthcare, building a versatile skill set and the ability to quickly adapt to new domains and stakeholders.

I’m especially passionate about scaling the impact of research by developing strategies, improving feedback loops, and helping teams better leverage insights in their decision-making.

Curious about my work? Let’s connect. I’m always happy to share more about my approach and the impact of my research.
